Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is one of the national parks of Mongolia. The Terelj tourist zone has a number of "tourist camps. It is connected with Ulaanbaatar by a paved road 80 km. Most of the tourist camps and tourist attractions are among the this pass. The national park tourist zone is formally in Nalaikh düüreg (district) part of Ulaanbaatar municipality, the rest of the protected zone beginning to the north of the Terelj River. 
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is considered one of the most beautiful worth visiting places for travelers who wanted to rest in surroundings near UB. If you like adventure activities such as hiking, rafting, horse or camel riding and visiting nomad family and stay overnight in traditional Ger dwelling within short period, this is the real place to fulfill your wishes. 
In this park you can visit to the Tsonjinboldog, it is the biggest horse statue in the world, /Statue of Chingiss Khaan/ Turtle Rock and Ariyabal meditation temple. 
Tsonjin boldog
It is located 55 km from Ulaanbaatar and one of the biggest advantages of the projects that was being implemented by Jenco Tour company. The statue in total is 40m high from surface erected at about 10 m high foundation and surrounded by columns. The statue, Chinggis riding his horse, is made by 250 tonnage steel. It is largest horse-riding statue in the World. Far sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand. The building consisted of 36 supporting columns, symbolizes 36 kings who are direct lineage of Chinggis Khaan. 
Recreation area, restaurants and souvenir shops will be located in the column surrounded base of the Statue and from here visitors will ascend to the exhibition hall using elevator at the back of the horse. The visitors will walk to the head of the horse through chest and back neck of the horse, where they can have farseeing and good panorama view over the complex area. The main area will be surrounded by “ger” camp, designed and arranged like the pattern of the horse seal that were used by the 13th century Mongol tribes. In these “ger” camps tourists can have a night out at this spot. Also, there is attractive and newly opened museums, Military equipments of ancient Hunnu people (Huns) and Great Mongolian State. The ticket price already included the both Museums. 
Turtle Rock
The symbol of Terelj National Park is 24 meter high, giant rock formation like a lying turtle. You will take a photo of rock and relaxing for a while in the shade of this giant turtle before to start for hiking towards Ariyabal meditation temple. 
Ariyabal Meditation Temple – was built in 1998-2004, because of its “Natural Energy”. It is located on a steep hill. The shape of the temple is an elephants head and the set of 108 stairs leading up to the temple symbolizes the elephant’s elongated trunk. Due to reach there you will cross the “Bridge of Heaven” and 108 stone stairs will lead you to the main temple and see 108 small stupas and 108 prayer wheels were placed around the temple. 
Also, you can rent a horses and camels to ride through the vast green steppes is one of the adventurous activities for who came in nomadic Mongolia. 
Visiting nomad family – is the chance for exploring their real routine life and feel the hospitality. Visitors are welcomed into the Mongolian ger and offered “Suutei tsai” /milk tea/ or “Airag” /mare’s milk/. You are able to know the herdsman how to care their livestock and the hostess does the daily indoor activities besides taking care of the children.
